[Poll] Features: Roleplaying / Points / Reputation

Erk, I hate to be the jerkish naysayer but I feel it needs to be addressed:

Personally I think reputation itself would have a nasty clique side-effect that would come to bite the idea of facilitating an open and caring group but that's just my opinion. I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this could potentially create drama though but it's probably a sign that instead of ignoring that complaint you should give it genuine look-over.

Role playing points would be interesting but due to not everyone being a role player around here (despite I am myself), I find it pointless as well unless this were a role play centric community.

Edit: I do think though something like a game with points you could earn like you were saying would be a really fun idea pending on the prizes? : ]

So while they are nice ideas, I kind of find them either not too important at best or something that could cause unintentional negative side effects.
